Odisha Arthroscopy Society (OAS) was initiated by 13 core members Dr.Tanmoy Mohanty, Dr. Biswajit Sahu, Dr. Paresh Chandra Dey, Dr. Debashish Mishra, Dr. Sanjeev Patnaik, Dr. Ranajit Panigrahi, Dr. Debabrata Padhy, Dr. Satya Ranjan Patra, Dr. Bishnu Prasad Patro, Dr. Tusharkanti Panda, Dr. Rg Asutosh Mahapatra, Dr. Akshya Kumar Sahu and Dr. Asish Acharya —on 19th July 2017.
The association was proposed by Dr Ranjit Panigrahy and was subsequently registered under the Society Act, bearing registration number 23907133, on the same date.
Following the formation of the association, many arthroscopic surgeons expressed interest in becoming members of this prestigious organisation. As of now, the society has 260 life members.
The association holds PAN number: AAAA8923F and GST number: 21AAAAO8923F1ZU.
